Gambling Affiliate Launches Online Blackjack Money Tool

Last Updated: October 23, 2009

An online gambling affiliate has released a program that will find blackjack players the top free money promotions that can be claimed at casinos online. The affiliate portal, which appeared in summer 2009, has developed the new system to help blackjack players discover the deals that don’t carry any catches.

Gaming Supermarket displays only the secure online gaming portals, including the likes of Will Hill and Ladbrokes, and already has over Eighty Pound in completely free cash offers , which gamers can take right now. What differentiates the system from the many other affiliates which offer a similar bonus finder… Gaming Supermarket only gives gamers the deals which do not need an initial deposit to be made.

Jason Smith, Manager of Gaming Supermarket, said:

“With our innovative functionality, players can clearly see where they can claim free money without having to make any initial deposits”.

At the same time as Gaming Supermarket develops systems for online gamers, a college student from Dundee has created a system which, he claims, should help defeat card counting at bricks and mortar casinos… which we reported last week.

Maths student develops anti card counting system

Last Updated: October 15, 2009

A recent news story, released by the BBC, said that a university student, who studies in Dundee, has developed a computer application that can monitor blackjack tables with such precision that it can spot card counters or mistakes made by the dealers. The computer programme watches the dealers card distribution and assesses the decisions that are made by the players at the blackjack table.

In the movie 21 (starring Kevin Spacey), derived from the Novel ‘Bringing Down The House’, a group of maths students make a vast amount of money from counting cards at blackjack in Sin City casinos. 21 suggests that card counting is done through a number of complex maths calculations based on the cards which are already dealt by the dealer. While not an illegal activity, counting cards can often result in casino players being banned from premises.

Counting Cards is still a much followed practice and several known groups that attempt to count cards throughout the UK. The maths student who developed the system that could put a stop to card counting is set to attract worldwide attention and is expected to be put before many of the biggest gaming operators in the near future.

A manager of a top London casino has meanwhile stated his staff are trained to “ignore” card counters unless they are visibly seen to be using a mechanical device.

With the suggestion of card counting at casinos is likely to come to an abrupt end it would be no surprise to see even more elaborate, and probably illegal, ways of beating the casinos showing up just around the corner

Online Bingo Market Share Increases

Last Updated: September 17, 2009

The online bingo market in the United Kingdom is growing increasingly quickly, recently released statistics reveal. It has been revealed that the revenue of the online bingo markets has experienced a steady and sustained rise throughout this year, and currently shows no sign of slowing down.

The increase in revenue is not that surprising, as for a number of months it has been known that the bingo industry in the United Kingdom is finding it much easier to raise money from running games and promotions online. The rise of the online bingo market has highlighted a fall in the popularity of the traditional bingo club, and a number of these traditional bingo halls have been forced to close down over the course of this year. However, the move to market bingo and gaming increasingly online simply shows the natural progression of business within the sector, and cannot be slowed down in order to sustain the clubs, most of which are now being used less and less. It appears clear that the bingo playing customer, in most cases, would now rather play bingo online than in an old fashioned hall. Certainly, the large majority of the bingo market’s profit now comes from the online market.

Bingo giants such as Mecca Bingo and Gala Bingo are citing the amount of competition from other companies as well as the obvious revenue benefits as their reasons for moving online. It is much easier to market bingo online than it is in a club, and much easier to attract customers. In a traditional bingo hall, the customers are likely to be regulars who will need to encouragement to attend. However, other people may not see the halls as somewhere that they would for social purposes like to attend. Currently Mecca Bingo and Gala Bingo own over forty percent of Britain’s land based bingo clubs between them. Thirty four halls have closed so far this year, but well over six hundred are still running.
